Email Outreach Templates for Guest Posting10 min read

What is the difference between guest posting and guest blogging?

An off-page SEO strategy, also known as guest posting or guest blogging, is one that is used to acquire backlinks or (and) gain popularity. In this strategy, an author/blogger contributes articles to another blog in exchange for a link back to his or her own blog, website, or social media accounts.

We all know that backlinks are extremely important for blogs and websites to rank higher in search results, and it is no different for websites. And it is for this reason that guest posts are becoming increasingly popular. Among the most effective methods of link building is the use of anchor text.

But it doesn’t stop there… Guest posting can help you increase your social media presence, develop your personal brand, and become a familiar face to your readers.

Email outreach should be a key component of your overall marketing strategy. The tactic can be used for a variety of purposes, including promotion, prospecting, guest blogging, influencer marketing, building your personal brand, soliciting reviews and ratings, link-building, and more.

Another piece of good news is that you don’t need to use 100 different outreach templates to be successful at cold emailing.

What you do require is a single email outreach template that is effective. Something that is specific to what you are attempting to accomplish and has been proven effective.

Create a single, powerful template and then tweak it to fit 16 different outreach situations at the same time.

With the help of templates, you can send hundreds of emails in a fraction of the time it would take you to type each one by hand – and all without sounding like a machine.

We have an outreach template to suit your needs whether you are a marketer, a sales representative, a podcaster, or simply someone who wants to build new relationships.

How to Find Guest Post Opportunities?

The task of identifying high-quality and niche-related guest post opportunities is challenging, and it is the part of the guest posting process that you will have to devote the majority of your available resources toward completing.

Okay, so how do we go about finding blogs that are willing to accept guest postings?

The most popular and long-standing method, which has been in use since the dawn of mankind, is to go to Google and search using search strings such as

  • [Your Keyword] “write for us”
  • [Your Keyword] “submit guest post”
  • [Your Keyword] “guest post opportunities”
  • [Your Keyword] “guest blogger”
  • [Your Keyword] “submit articles”

Final Words – Email Outreach Templates for Guest Posting

Cold email outreach is one of the most effective methods of obtaining shares, interviews, and sales for your content. They simply function.

When you use these outreach templates, you will be light years ahead of your competitors in a fraction of the time.

One piece of advice: when sending emails, make sure to personalize them as much as possible. People will not immediately delete your message if you don’t sound like a robot.

Oh, and one final piece of advice: if they do not respond to your first email, don’t give up!

Always make sure to follow up. Always. The majority of acceptances occur during the follow-up.

Sometimes people are simply too busy that week, or they meant to respond but forgot, or they simply didn’t see the message in the first place for whatever reason they had.

What do you think you should say?

As a guest blogging master and the founder of IconiContent, Aaron Orendorff, recommends that you simply resend the exact same email as if they had never received the first one. This is due to the fact that sending a follow-up email informing them that they missed the previous email is a little disrespectful.

While this is not always the case, I do agree that simply resending the same email is a good way to go about things in most situations. If they’re interested, they’ll get back to you. Alternatively, you can employ these follow-up techniques.

Aaron recommends that you don’t follow up more than once… but I’d follow up twice, just to be on the safe side. It is entirely up to you. Some people recommend sending value-added emails to follow up with until you receive a response.

Now go out and hustle, send those emails, and watch your company grow like never before.
