Living It Up in Sin City, Baby!
Yoooo, waddup everyone! Your girl just got back from the wildest weekend ever tearing up Las Vegas with my besties. Even though I’ve been to Vegas a bunch for festivals and stuff, this girls trip was next level litness. Get comfy while I spill allll the piping hot tea!
Gathering My Ride or Die Crew
You know when you and your best friends plan a trip you’ve been excited about forever? That was me and my girls Sam, Becca, and Jordan prepping for a Vegas vacay. We’ve been #squadgoals since junior year of high school and were way overdue for a wild weekend together.
Sam and I go to San Diego State together, Becca goes to UCLA, and Jordan is doing her thing at USC. But despite being at different colleges, we stay supporting each other. I knew this trip would be the perfect reunion for my babes.
We planned to road trip it up during Labor Day weekend to take advantage of the three day holiday. Each of us threw our bags into my Jeep early Saturday morning, stocked up on road trip snacks, and blasted our fave sing-along jams the entire 4 hour drive from LA to Las Vegas.
Pulling up to our spacious luxury vacation rental in Las Vegas with insane views of the Strip from the balcony instantly got us hyped. The fully stocked kitchen and pool with cabana lounge chairs were everything too. We knew what happened in Vegas would definitely not be staying in Vegas!
Day Drinking Pool Party Style
That first day we woke up ready to soak up the sun poolside and start early by day drinking in true Vegas fashion. Our rental had a private cabana pool and lounge area so we posted up there first to pre-game.
We sipped on pitchers of fruity cocktails, twerked to rap playlists, and drooled over the hotties walking around the pool shirtless. It was the perfect way to ease into the turnt up atmosphere that is Vegas daytime by the water. Gotta work on those goggle tans!
Eventually we motivated ourselves to go explore some of the epic pools open to the public at the Strip hotels. Our favorites were the lazy river pool flowing under bridges at MGM Grand and the beachy vibes at Encore. We definitely got down with pool floats and pool toys too!
Eating Our Hearts Out
After showering the chlorine and sunscreen off post pool time, we walked the Strip checking out all the amazing and lit up hotel details like the fountains at the Bellagio. All that partying in the hot sun eventually caught up with us and we had to refuel. Thank god Vegas has so many bomb buffets!
We went on an absolute food coma mission hitting the Wicked Spoon at Cosmopolitan, Bacchanal Buffet at Caesars Palace, and The Buffet at Wynn Las Vegas. We gorged ourselves on different cuisines from sushi, to Italian, to classic comfort foods like mac n’ cheese pizza. So worth the inevitable food baby!
Raging Pool Parties with Celeb Sightings
The next day we got all dolled up in our hottest daytime outfits and ready for some serious Vegas pool parties! Saturday we lived it up at Tao Beach Dayclub at The Venetian which was overflowing with hotties in bikinis and had legit nightclub production by the water.
The Tao Beach VIP cabanas surprisingly ended up being a nice respite from the crazy pool party scene with bottle service delivered right to us. I even spotted Kourtney Kardashian walking by our cabana! We definitely pretended not to notice.
On Sunday we rallied like champs to hit up Marquee Dayclub at the Cosmopolitan, which was straight up wildin. The pool parties in Vegas really get insane! We danced our butts off on in the pool and at the DJ stage until the very last set ended at sunset. It was so easy to make new friends in the pool and at our cabana too.
I was basically an energizer bunny despite no sleep thanks to adrenaline and Vegas FOMO. You gotta live it up with no regrets in Sin City!
Raging All Night Long
After fighting through hangovers to actually make it to nighttime, we got super glam in sexy club outfits and hit the world famous Vegas clubs like true ballers. First stop was Omnia Nightclub at Caesars Palace which totally lived up to the hype.
The acrobatic aerialists performing on platforms above the crowded dance floor were so cool to watch while dancing! We felt like total VIPs sipping our table bottle service.
Next we rolled up to Tao Nightclub at The Venetian which did not disappoint either. We had a blast dancing up on the couches to booming EDM with my best girlfriends. We ended up making friends with a group of hotties in line who let us skip the brutal wait to get in. Club karma is real!
Later we danced on tables, arms in the air, drinking champagne at Marquee Nightclub until the very last call. YOLO right? You only turn 21 once! Those TAO Group clubs really know how to turn up in Vegas.
Recovering and Chilling
On our final day in Las Vegas, we were utterly exhausted yet already missing the wildness of the Strip. We made the smart decision and slept in late, then grabbed some very necessary coffees and a chill girls brunch at Sadelle’s in the Bellagio.
Afterwards, we relaxed poolside back at our amazing vacation rental in Las Vegas, that we`ve booked at Karta, reflecting on all the unforgettable memories we made partying together. It was the perfect lowkey way to end our blowout girls trip.
What happens in Vegas might stay there, but the nonstop laughs and crazy stories with my besties will stay with me forever. I couldn’t imagine exploring Sin City with anyone else! We’re already planning our next reunion trip.
