Blog Income Reports 2022: How Much Money Do Top Bloggers Make

How can bloggers make money and maintain such high monthly blog income reports? Some bloggers earn more than $200,000 every month. I’m not sure how that’s even possible. Below, I’ll go over 50+ blog income reports and provide you with the information you need to transform your blog into a company.

What Can Blog Income Reports Tell You?

How long does it take for a blog to start producing money? Weeks? Months? Years? Is there a link between the age of a blog and its income?

Those are the thoughts that go through my mind before I fall asleep. I’m sure you do as well.

You’ve put some money into your blog and launched it because you want to make money. But when do you think you’ll see him again?

We live in a society that is impatient. I’d like to make some money today. I intend to retire the next day. And this weekend, I want to migrate to Hawaii, or in my case, the French Riviera. I want to hear church bells and French accents every morning when I get up. I’d like to take a stroll to the corner cafe and have an espresso. And then spend the rest of the day touring historic churches, strolling through cobblestone streets, and sipping wine till the sun sets.

But I’m a mother with children, so such fantasies will have to wait. Until then, I’m having fun on the floor with my toddler and cuddling my baby….as well as working on my side hustle.

So, how long does it take for bloggers to start earning a lot of money from their blogs?

It won’t take as long as you think.

Consider launching a business the traditional way.

You’ve had a thought. But you have no idea if it will work or not. However, you adore it! You create a product and apply for a patent ($5,000-$15,000). You find a manufacturer and order a large quantity of your widget (cost of manufacturing can be tens of thousands). You hire a space in the neighbouring strip mall ($120-$200 per square foot if you’re Apple). You place a few advertisements in the local newspaper. Then you have to wait.

You’ve put thousands of dollars into your business and have yet to generate a profit! Where have all of your customers gone? They trickle in slowly. You finally start to make enough money to cover all of your expenditures after a few years, and you can stop eating ramen noodles.

Sure, that’s an awful situation, but it happens all the time.

Is There A Faster Way To Make Money By Blogging?

Let’s pretend you’ve decided to create a blog right now. For a complete year of hosting, it will cost you less than $50! And that is the only cost associated with starting a blog. That concludes our discussion.

You may begin immediately by signing up as an Amazon associate and promoting the things you enjoy. You can easily recoup that $50 in a few weeks. Read about how these bloggers made their first $100 through blogging.

You’re missing out if you’re not cultivating an internet audience.

“Blogs and social media have given us everyone the potential to generate a big audience with nothing more than a smart phone or computer in the last decade or so.” Mike Taylor was quoted as saying

Imagine a line of hundreds of people forming outside your store, eager to purchase your product. That is exactly what having a blog entails!

Even if you don’t yet have a product or an idea, you can participate. It’ll happen. When that brilliant idea comes to you, you’ll have a massive email list and a blog with thousands of readers. Then you’ll be able to pitch your idea and earn a full-time living. All of this for the relatively low cost of launching a blog.

So, if you’re just getting started or if you already have a blog and need some ideas. Just keep going. Continue to update on a regular basis to expand your readership. New concepts are put to the test. New courses should be tried. Invest in excellent instruction, such as the Blog by Number programme. It will pay off if you persist with it.

What Are the Different Ways Bloggers Make Money?

Let’s speak about how bloggers truly generate money before I get into the list of blog income reports. There are a plethora of options!

These income reports’ bloggers generate money in a variety of ways.

The following are some of the most popular ways to make money blogging:

Affiliate marketing entails promoting products and receiving a commission when customers use your unique affiliate link to make a purchase. Affiliate marketing is my preferred method of monetizing my blog.
Advertising: Using an ad network like Google AdSense, Monumetric, AdThrive, or Mediavine to display adverts on your blog.
Digital items: Many bloggers sell digital products on their blogs, such as ebooks, online courses, templates, and printables.
Collaboration with brands to write sponsored blog material or develop sponsored social media content are examples of sponsored posts.
Offering services through your blog, such as coaching, freelance writing, social media management, virtual assistant services, and so on.

As a marketing tool, blog income reports are useful.

I’d want to mention a few points about income reports before I get into the list.

To begin with, the primary motivation for bloggers to produce income reports is to make money. It’s vital to remember that blog income reports are largely a marketing tool for bloggers when you read them.

Bloggers profit from earnings reports by:

By urging you to sign up for web hosting through their affiliate link, they are encouraging you to establish your own blog (web hosting commissions are very lucrative)
Affiliate links for blogging courses and ebooks are shared (again, digital products like these tend to have pretty high commissions)
Promoting their own blogging courses and ebooks, as well as their blog coaching services, and so on.

I don’t see anything wrong with this (I’ve created my own income reports!) However, it’s something to think about as you read them.

Who is responsible for preparing income reports?

This is also why certain niches have disproportionately high income reports. Making money, internet business, personal finance, marketing, and other money-related blogs are more likely to publish income reports than, example, a fashion blog.

However, keep in mind that there are full-time bloggers in every sector that earn six figures through their blogs. They simply aren’t publishing about it openly on the Internet because it would be counterproductive to their business interests.

Finally, keep in mind that income reports from blogs do not usually tell the complete storey.

Taking the Big Picture into Account

When it comes to sharing their money, many bloggers utilise creative accounting or leave key details out. It’s easy to read an income report from a blogger who makes $10,000 per month, but keep in mind that after business expenses, taxes, and insurance, the blogger’s income may easily be $5,000 per month.

Having said that, I continue to believe that blog income reports are a valuable learning tool, which is why I compiled this list in the first place.

They can provide you a decent notion of how to make money blogging and show you what works for other bloggers. When I first started blogging, I found reading revenue reports to be quite encouraging!

List of Blog Income Reports

So let’s get started! Here are more than 200 blog income reports, organised by niche.

Note that the majority of these are income reports for the month. When a blogger has published a quarterly or annual income report, I’ve reported it as an average monthly figure to maintain consistency.

Please leave a comment at the bottom of this post if you’d want me to add a link to your own blog revenue report to the list!

I’d like to make this list as complete as possible, so please contribute.

The prominent names on this list are the ones you should get to know and learn from. People like Pat Flynn and Michelle Schroeder-Gardner Are down to earth, diligent, and intelligent!

They have worked for years to grow their web enterprises, as you can see from the graph.

It did not take decades or a large team to accomplish. It was exhausting job with long hours. However, establishing an internet business can be extremely profitable.

What is the purpose of a blog income report?

The revenue, expenses, and profits generated by a blog are shown in a blog income report. Typically, bloggers include a storey about what they worked on that month, what has been working in general, and future plans.

Ads, affiliate revenues, consulting, freelancing, courses, ebooks, and other sources of revenue are all written down in detail in detailed blog income reports.

They may also offer information on their top-earning affiliate programmes, which is useful if you’re seeking for ways to monetize your site.

Why do bloggers keep track of their earnings?

Some bloggers like to brag about how much money they make in order to inspire both others and themselves.

It’s easier to keep going when you know you have an audience when you’re bragging about how much money you make. Apart from that, it makes no difference why bloggers publish revenue figures.

Who cares if they’re doing it to brag? Take what you can and don’t be concerned about their reasons.

How much money does a new blogger make?

If you look at “early” blog income reports from bloggers, you’ll notice that there are a lot of months with little or no blogging money.

A new blogger may only earn $20 a month from ads and affiliate commissions, but with the right technique and enough time and effort, a new blogger can earn hundreds of dollars or more. Your specialty, content approach, and revenue techniques will all play a role.

Is it possible to make money with a blog?

Yep! Thousands of bloggers profit from their websites. Although the majority of bloggers don’t make much money, some do make a full-time living from their blogs.

My blogging income has been in the six figures over the years, and considerably higher if you consider the blogs I’ve sold after building them over time. So, certainly, you can generate money through your blog.

Should I make a blog income report available on my website?

That’s all up to you; if it serves as a nice external motivator for your blogging, go for it! It can also be beneficial if you eventually find a supportive group that cheers you on as they monitor your income reports each month.

However, there are many people who dislike blog revenue reports and refuse to provide them. Tracie Fobes, for example, believes that blog income reports have more disadvantages than benefits.

“I also believe that the reports are frequently used to promote other courses for readers to purchase,” Tracie adds. “It’s a way to obtain more sales, which means more affiliate income, and thus more money in the next month’s report.”

Another thing to consider is that writing blog income reports takes time, and if you only have so much time to blog, it’s usually preferable to spend it generating evergreen content that will bring in quality, consistent visitors over time.

Here’s a list of 100 blog revenue reports categorised by niche: personal finance, travel, food, blogging, and lifestyle. Enjoy.
